Dennis Wayne "Denny" Wisner

Mr. Dennis Wayne "Denny" Wisner, 69, of Hagerstown MD, died Saturday evening, Oct. 19, at his home. He was surrounded by loved ones during his final moments. Born August 4, 1955, he was a son of the late Charles Wisner Sr. and Mary Ellen Lenhart Wisner of Frederick MD.

Mr. Wisner had been a warehouse manager at National Geographic in Gaithersburg MD, before retiring as a computer repair technician for the Montgomery County Public School system. He enjoyed traveling during retirement, and spending time with his three granddaughters.

Surviving are his ex-wife Deena Wisner of Knoxville; two sons, Dan Wisner and wife Aubrey of Silver Spring, and Dean Wisner and wife Kyrsten of Adams, TN; one daughter, Darby Wisner of Abbottstown, PA; and 3 granddaughters; Evelyn, Madelyn, and Hailey; his partner Cheryl Goodman; his brother, Charles Martin Wisner Jr. and wife Nancy of Myersville; two sisters, Betty A. Breeden of Frederick, and Vickie Sue Battle and husband Roger of Tampa, Fla.

Mr. Wisner was preceded in death by one son, Derek Kyle Wisner; one brother Larry Richard Wisner; and one sister, Michelle Lynn Wisner.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown.  Per Denny’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. A cookout will be held at Denny’s home and will be announced later via social media.
