Gary Menold Bollinger

Mr. Gary Menold Bollinger, 76, of Baltimore, died early Wednesday afternoon, October 9, 2024, at Hagerstown Health Care.

 Born August 29, 1948, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William A. and Irma M. King Bollinger. He was a graduate of Baltimore City College High School.

 After serving in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division, Gary began working with and later retired from Bethlehem Steel at Sparrows Point, Dundalk.

 Surviving is his daughter Heather Colleen Bollinger Thurmond and husband Sean of Stephens City, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Gavin Raine and Alexander Storm Bollinger of Ellicott City, and Quinn Riley, Zane Zavier and Merrend Willow Thurmond, all at home in Stephens City.

 Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by former spouse Pamela Lynn Potter Bollinger who died in 2018.

The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with arrangements. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
