Henry Mccall

Mr. Henry Eckford McCall, 82, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday afternoon, July 30, 2013, at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown.
Born May 10, 1931, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Elliott H. and Goldie McCall Henninger. He graduated Hagerstown High School in 1949; and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Mr. McCall was employed and retired from the State of Maryland.
He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hagerstown; Dixon Troxell, Post #211, American Legion, Funkstown; and Hagerstown Junior Basketball League for more than fifty years.
Surviving are his nieces Sorrelda Welch and Mary Moffitt, both of Hagerstown; a great nephew, KennethWelch of Hagerstown; and great nieces, Edie Swearingen of New Hampshire, and Kara Miller of Ohio.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Morris and Sorrelda McCall.
The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Saturday, August 3, from 9:30 until time of services at 10:30 AM. Chaplain Katherine L. Lippy will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
