Susan Line

Mrs. Susan Louise Davis Line, 75, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, April 14, 2018, at her home.  She was the wife of Harold Floyd Line, Sr., her loving husband of 54 years.

Born January 5, 1943, in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Bertram and Sarah Ellen Russell Davis.  She attended a year and a half of Hagerstown Community College; and half year of Washington County Hospital School of Nursing.

Susan worked for Ward Leonard Electric Company until she married in April, 1964.

She was an active member of John Wesley United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.

Family and friends will remember her great skills as a seamstress; and what a great bowler she was, winning many awards.  She also loved crocheting, playing video games, and working crossword puzzles.  Christmas time and picking crabs were always special times.

Surviving, besides her husband, are her sons Harold F. Line, Jr of Hagerstown, and Matthew D. Line and wife Teresa Line of Sharpsburg; her beautiful granddaughters, Victoria S. and Lindsey C. Line, both of Williamsport, and of whom she was very proud.

She will be missed by all of those who loved her.

The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 12:00 PM until the service begins at the funeral home at 1:00 PM.  Her pastor, Rev. Katie M. O’Hern, will officiate.  Interment will follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery, Hagerstown.
